Steady States ("we," "us," "our") operates the Sanity Tracker mobile application (the "App"). This page explains our approach to your privacy — and it's a short one, because the App does not collect any data.
Sanity Tracker does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. All data you enter into the App is stored exclusively on your own device. It is never uploaded to iCloud, any other cloud service, or any server we operate — because we don't operate any servers for this App. You can erase your data at any time directly within the App.
None. Sanity Tracker does not use analytics, crash reporting, advertising SDKs, or any third-party tracking tools. There is no account creation, no sign-in, and no server-side component of any kind.
Entirely on your device, in local storage. It is not backed up to iCloud, Google Drive, or any other remote location by the App. If you delete the App, that data is deleted along with it. If you use your device's own backup features (e.g., a full iCloud device backup), that is a function of your operating system, not of Sanity Tracker.
The App is free and fully functional at install. The only in-app purchase available is an optional, one-time donation, processed entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play billing systems. We never receive your payment details — that is handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies.
Sanity Tracker is rated 16+ and is not directed at or intended for use by children under 16. We do not knowingly allow use by children under 16. Because the App collects no personal information from anyone, regardless of age, there is no data to safeguard, sell, or expose — but the App's content is intended for users 16 and older.
We anticipate future availability in the European Economic Area. Because Sanity Tracker does not collect, process, or store any personal data on any server, there is no personal data for us to be a "controller" or "processor" of under the GDPR. Data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection) are not applicable in the traditional sense, since we hold nothing to act on — you already have full, direct control over your data on your own device, including full erasure at any time.
Sanity Tracker does not collect, sell, or share personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act. There is accordingly no personal information for us to disclose upon request, delete upon request, or opt you out of selling — none of it exists outside your device.
If the App's data practices ever change — for example, if we introduce optional cloud sync in the future — we will update this policy first and clearly describe any new data collection before it takes effect.
